Angela Lutzker is an abstract painter and sketch artist whose work unfolds through a process she calls “visual memory mapping.” Her practice is guided by intuition — an exploration of form, texture, and emotion where each session becomes its own quiet, moving meditation. Equally inspired by the natural world and the built environment, Angela is drawn to the subtle dialogue between them, as well as the tension and harmony between movement and stillness. Her palette mirrors this sensibility — subdued yet expressive — rooted in the understated beauty of weathered landscapes, worn fabrics, handmade materials, and shifting light.

Each hue that is choosen becomes more than a visual gesture; it is a sensory inquiry meant to evoke calm, presence, and reflection. Through carefully layered textures, tones, and marks, she seeks to create work that feels timeless, resonant, and deeply human. Angela holds an MA from the Corcoran College Art + Design at George Washington University.  In addition to her work as a visual artist, she is an interior designer with offices in Alexandria, VA, Manhatten, NY and Charleston, SC.
